My mission belongs to the Lord. With all my heart I give my energy and my time to the Master because I love Him. Therefore I am going to look at everyday not as mine but as His. And I will treat each minute of His time with respect and focus and the dedication it deserves.--Russell M. Ballard

WEEKLY UPDATE-- HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Me and Sister Wong |
It's me again! I know what you're all thinking..."Sister Goo is emailing us again?" Well it's P-day again but I'll keep it short so that you guys can get on with your day :)😆
We all know that there are a lot of CRAYCRAY people on this earth but while on my mission I have realized that I talk to A LOT of them every day. Before you don't really notice them but as a missionary you get to know A LOT of them...haha like ALL of them really. It makes things super interesting! My companion can agree with me when I say that EVERY DAY IS AN ADVENTURE!
Recently, our misison president has changed some rules SOOO, us missionaries now wake up at 7:00am and go to bed at 11:00pm. It's kind of strange being out later than 9:00 BUT it gives us more time do proselyte during the evening. Yeah..
hmmmm.........🤔I don't know what else to say...and we are going to the amusement park today🤗 so i'll end this email here BUT I just want you all to know (especially mom and pops) that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE MY MISSION!!!! And I love you all too. Hope you don't miss me too much :) and RAIN! DONT EAT TOO MUCH CANDY!!! :D💃
Until next week!!

WEEKLY UPDATE: IT'S TEMPLE DAY!!
Today is a pretty special day. We get to go to the temple today! An early start and a long train ride later and we'll be at the temple!
This week was SO CRAZY, IT WAS SO GOOD! The beginning of our week looked like a bowl of chex cereal. The plain rice kine. Not really any flavor, not very colorful, just boring. We had finding planned ALL DAY EVERY DAY this week. However, little did we know that Heavenly Father had other plans for our plans...He took our glum bowl of chex cereal and added other delicious and exciting things and this week turned our bowl of chex into a bucket of Muddie Buddies!
This week we....
-Placed Liahonas with our contact information in Clinics, Hosptials and Dentist Offices.
-Ate spicy duck heads at an RC's house for FHE.
-Rode down a sketchy road with a lot of dogs and biked faster than they could have the chance to bite us...
-Met an old lady we named "toothless". She's a cutie.
-Talked to an apartment security guard and asked him for directions and ended up giving him a Book of Mormon, teaching the restoration AND setting up for another time to meet with him.
-Biked 45 minutes to the next city over to visit with an RC and baked cookies with her!
-Had a member bring her friend to church #MRI
-Krispy Kreme donuts!
-Put on a ward halloween activity.
-Found fried oreos at the nightmarket!
-Delivered a birthday balloon to a very happy birthday boy
-Had interviews with President
-Tracted into a famous calligrapher (80 years old) who gave us one of his artwork books!
-We met a cute old man named William who was overjoyed when he found out that he could practice his English with us.
-I got to see a classmate from 3rd grade whose number just happened to be in our phone.
But wait. There is so much more...I just can't put into words how AMAZING MISSIONS ARE!! Seriously guys!! Well, that is the extent of my email today..Next week will be better, I'm just really excited to be able to be going to the temple today!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

p.s. I LOVE my mission!! :)

p.s. I LOVE my mission!! :)
Mr. 80 year old calligrapher and more.
We met with one of the ZhongLi ELDER'S recent converts Joan. Since ZhongLi doesn't have sister missionaries we have to teach her the recent convert lessons - just review after baptism. We went to her house and made cookies with her and right now we're just reviewing the lessons with her. She's awesome and wants to serve a mission but her parents won't let her. and she shared with us that she used to have bipolar disorder and has tried to commit suicide earlier in her life before but since learning about the gospel she's got no desire to. She's a really strong member already and attends institute!
