A Day in the Mountains

We just spent the day in the mountains.

it's also done on a railroad track ( I don't know why) so when the train comes everybody has to clear the way to avoid getting knocked out by the train.

Last p-day we went to Pingxi. Its a very popular place where you can paint on these huge paper lanterns and then send them flying.

WEEKLY UPDATE--Outside Food Republic O.O

We had kind of a funny experience this past week. We were out finding with a member one day and we saw this man standing outside of Food Republic (a HUGE food court). It was a nice sunny day and we decided we wanted to talk to him. At first he did not want to entertain us at all and then when he started talking to us he went on about how God isn't actually real and how being Buddhist and honoring his ancestors gives him more power than believing in God. Well, after he said these things it started down pouring. We got our umbrellas out. As he was trying to open his umbrella his stretchers broke. He did not want to get wet and his umbrella was now broken so we all walked into Food Republic. As he was trying to put his broken umbrella away, he dropped his phone and his screen was completely shattered. Long story short.....He apologized for what he said before and now he is our new investigator! Yay!
