Lunch appointments with investigators happen often. However, this week we had a very special appointment. We went to this udon restaurant and our investigator orders the restaurant's special, a 5 kg (11 lbs.) bowl of Udon. They had a rule. If he could finish the entire thing in 30 minutes it was free. So the first half an hour of our
appointment was spent cheering him on as he charged this gigantic tub of noodles...Half an hour and an empty sink bowl later, we shared with him the Restoration and set a baptismal date.
On Saturday night we came home to a red hornet flying around our house....\O.O/ A spatula and some Mr. Clean later (we didn't have bug spray) the little fella was a goner...we later realized that there was actually a nest behind our dryer. But it's all good now.
