WEEKLY UPDATE--Treasure up the words of life continually.

Aloha! It's been another wonderful week in Taiwan :)

In celebration of 60 years of missionary work in Taiwan, we had a special ceremony that was broadcast for all of Taiwan to see, On Friday all of the missionaries in Taipei attended a meeting where the first missionaries in Taiwan shared their experiences. The growth of the church in Taiwan over these past 60 years in absolutely incredible! This celebration was one of rejoice-ful reunion, all coming together to celebrate missionary work

This week our mission made a commercial for our english class which will be put in the MRT stations around Taipei.

With our new companion, Sister Mollie Bradley
Sister. Westover and I have a NEW COMPANION! They are doing something weird with our area. We aren't really sure what is going on or why but we'll know by transfer day (which is on Thursday) so for the time being we are in a tri-panionship. Also, our apartment (in which at the moment 5 sisters reside in) will most likely house 8 next transfer.

Move call madness! Transfers are this week and move call madness has begun. The way we do move calls in Taiwan is, as a district, we get together and we guess who is going where and who is staying. And then we wait. On Wednesday, the day before transfers, all of the missionaries will receive a text message with a code in it. Missionaries then take the code to a 7-11 and input it into a machine called an IBBON. You then print out the paper that is attached to this code and it will tell you which missionary is moving, to where, and what time. Packing is somewhat of a struggle when we dont know who is moving but move calls are fun.

Our district had another baptism, our investigator who previously had a stroke and currently has cancer, walked an hour from his house to our chapel to attend church, and the elders have recently gotten over their bronchitis. This week has been crazy, we have seen so many miracles and we have consistently been let in to more and more houses every day, finding and teaching this gospel to those God has prepared to receive it. Every day here has been a blessing.
