First of all, A HUGE MAHALO NUI LOA to ALLL MY OHANA BACK HOME!! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE BIRTHDAY WISHES, LI HING MUI CANDIES, AND FOR HELPING PUT TOGETHER A SUPER CUTE BIRTHDAY BOOK! I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. 😄
For Sister Wong's last P-day here in Bade we biked 2 and a half hours to eat some frozen yogurt and play at the beach. (Nothing has ever made me more grateful for living just a two minute walk away from the beach.) Regardless of the distance, it was the perfect way to end an awesome transfer! Sister Wong moved and now I have a NEW COMPANION! Sister Eyre from Irvine, California. She's 19 years old and LOVES CHOCOLATE. I am excited to be here in Bade serving with her. This past Sunday was Stake Conference. What made it really special was we had the Asia Area Presidency (Elder Wong) along with our Mission President in attendance. They announced that this upcoming year they are looking forward to splitting the stake. They also talked about chopsticks and members. You can't eat rice with just one chopstick, (unless it is a really sticky rice ball) you need both sticks working together. Just like this work. Missionaries CAN NOT do this work alone. THEY NEED MEMBERS. So all you people reading this, go help the missionaries! And those missionaries reading this, build a relationship with your members! Another thing that made Stake Conference pretty special was that two of our investigators came! One actually drove us and took us to lunch after! So that was cool.
Meet Sister Eyre and our investigators. I have been looking forward to this transfer since the start of my mission.I am in the greatest place with the most amazing people! And, this transfer has Thanksgiving AND Christmas in it! All of our baptismal date investigators are on date for December 24th, Christmas Eve! This transfer is going to be SWEET!!🙋And to end this email on and even SWEETER note, Because I have such an AMAZING Ohana it makes me so grateful for the Plan of Happiness that Heavenly Father has provided for us. Please watch this video about families. It is one of my favorites! And then after you watch it, go hug your family and tell them you LOVE them!
My mission belongs to the Lord. With all my heart I give my energy and my time to the Master because I love Him. Therefore I am going to look at everyday not as mine but as His. And I will treat each minute of His time with respect and focus and the dedication it deserves.--Russell M. Ballard
