WEEKLY UPDATE: The Metric System

Seriously. This week was more awesome than math and the Metric System! We met our goals, laughed everyday and were able to find and teach two amazing families this week!

Because I know my brothers don't like to read a whole lot, here's a quick little run down of our highlights for the week:

Ye jie mei!
-We were also able to attend a baptism for an investigator that Sister Wong and I taught last transfer. Ye jie mei! She is a friend of a young woman in the ward. Guys, member missionary work.

 - During scripture class this week , we read from 1 Nephi 2 through 1 Nephi 4. The only question our class had was, "How was Nephi able to slay Laban and manage NOT TO GET BLOOD ON HIS CLOTHES." It was a very pleasant scripture reading class...

 - Our ward held a chinese violin, chinese piano, chinese singing, flute, ukulele playing concert. SUPER random. Super fun.

 - Our mission has decided to initiate plan 25 on the 25th. 25 investigators on sunday the 25th. SUPER STOKED!

 - WE GAVE AN OLD GUY A PICTURE OF JESUS AND USING HIS BEST CHING-LISH HE SAID, "I LOVE JESUS" AND KISSED THE PICTURE! Super cute.

-We also met another old guy named Lee from China who absolutely loved pinching my companion's cheeks!

 IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!

Sorry this email is pretty lame. That's okay. I still love you all :) Talk to you all next year!

 -Sister Goo
